DINGBATS?! 
DingBats?! are an improvised instrumental ensemble based formed in response to Sydney the death of culture in Sydney and the impending gloom caused by society’s propensity to appoint morons to lead them.
They have spent their careers playing a multitude of musical styles alongside some of Australia’s most renowned musicians and have each developed their own unique voice.
Their combined improvising results in a chemistry that yields incredibly exciting and diverse journeys, thematic soundscapes and dense, layered grooves.  
The band meld dark rock textures and broken-beat metric modulation, and tend to contrast this with dubbed out country motifs and occasional detuned sludge.  A multitude of influences are realised simultaneously as the music begins to evoke Bill Frisell, Kyuss, Pink Floyd and Battles notes. The result is ambient yet hard hitting, durgy yet bright, and syrupy yet sparse.
